Scoring:

You will notice next to each answer you chose is a number (0, 1, 2, 3). Add these numbers together to give you a total and compare them with the scoring information below.

0–9 indicates that a person is not depressed.

10–18 indicates mild-moderate depression.

19–29 indicates moderate-severe depression.

30–63 indicates severe depression.

Higher total scores indicate more severe depressive symptoms.
